Ajay Pandey took over as MD of Neotel (Pty) Ltd in December 2005. He is the dual Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he was with Tata Communications in India as President of the project for the company's telecoms initiative in South Africa. He has had over two decades of work experience, with over a decade in the telecoms industry. He has held many positions in the Tata Group's telecoms business.
As President of Tata Teleservices Limited, Pandey led the company's Programme Management Office (PMO & New Circle group), which was responsible for scaling up the company's existing operations as well as the launch of services under the Tata Indicom brand, in a project of US$ 1.2 billion across new telecoms geographies in India.
Pandey has held senior level positions such as President of Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (TIEBU), which he set up in early 2003, and CEO of Tata Internet Services Limited. He is now a Board Member of this company. Prior to this he was the COO for Tata Group’s first company to set up the Basic Telephone Circle. Prior to joining the telecoms industry, he was part of the office automation industry and consumer durable industry in India.
Pandey is a mechanical engineer from REC Kurukshetra, an alumnus of London Business School and a Fellow of the Telecoms Executive Management Institute of Canada. He has published a book titled "Are You Fishing In the Right Ocean", a self-help book for young and upcoming professionals. Mr. Srinath has over 20 years experience within the Tata Group, having held various positions in project management, sales and marketing, as well as significant corporate functions in several Tata companies. Mr. Srinath has been responsible for spearheading new projects in high-technology areas such as process automation and control, computers and telecoms and was an instrumental figure early in the launch of the Tata Group's CDMA services.
Mr. Srinath previously served as Executive Assistant to the Chairman for Tata Industries, a position he held until 1992. He worked with a strategic team to set up Tata Information Systems, which later became Tata IBM. Throughout his tenure here, he accepted a number of assignments in sales and marketing.
In 1998, Mr. Srinath returned to Tata Industries as General Manager, Projects and worked with Tata Teleservices in this capacity for a year. In 1999, he moved to Hyderabad as Chief Operating Officer responsible for all the operations of Tata Teleservices. In late 2000, Mr. Srinath took over as Chief Executive Officer of Tata Internet Services, a position he held until February 2002, when he moved to VSNL as Director (Operations). He subsequently became Executive Director for VSNL.
In 2006, Mr. Srinath was honoured with the Telecom Asia 'CEO of the Year' award in recognition of his role in transforming VSNL from a domestic monopoly to a major global telecoms company in just four years. During this time, VSNL's business model was reinvented and the company entered several new businesses, both in India and abroad. Mr. Srinath holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, specialising in marketing and systems. Prior to joining Tata Communications, Claude was the Managing Director Europe for Asia Netcom, a pan-Asian telecommunication subsidiary of China Netcom. With his significant background in the international telecoms industry beginning with Sprint International (1993-1995), Claude continued to enrich his portfolio with his stints with Global One (1996-1997) and with increased responsibility with BCE Teleglobe (1998-2002) prior to joining Asia Netcom.
A graduate from the Ecole Superieure de Gestion in Paris and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Claude currently resides in Paris with his wife and two children.

Mr. Frans J P Ndoroma was appointed as Managing Director of Telecom Namibia Limited on 1 November 2002. During the same period he was simultaneously appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Namibia Post & Telecom Holdings Limited (NPTH), the holding company under which Telecom Namibia, NamPost and Mobile Telecoms (MTC) reside.
Born in Namibia, Mr. Ndoroma received his primary and high school education from various Roman Catholic Schools within the country.
From 1974 to 1976 the Catholic Church sponsored Mr. Ndoroma's studies for a BSc degree at the University of Fort Hare. However, due to Soweto protests at the time, he was expelled before completing the course. In 1978 Mr. Ndoroma was offered a bursary by the then Consolidated Diamond Mines (CDM) to study at Leeds University in the UK, where he graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Mineral Engineering in 1981.
In 1989, Mr. Ndoroma successfully completed his Management Development Programme (MDP) at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and then went on to successfully complete his Executive Development Programme (EDP) at the University of Witwatersrand (WITS) in 1994. In 2003 he completed a Telecoms Management Course through TEMIC in Canada.
In September 1981, Mr. Ndoroma was appointed as a metallurgical graduate at NAMDEB. Over the 21 years with NAMDEB, Mr. Ndoroma occupied various positions including Divisional Plant Superintendent, Metallurgical Manager, Mine Manager of the Orange River Mines and finally Assistant General Manager of NAMDEB. Mr. Satish Ranade is the first Company Secretary and Legal Head of Tata Communications Limited, since the year 1987. Mr. Ranade started his professional career with M/s Maharashtra Electrosmelt Limited, as Dy. Company Secretary where he had served with distinction for over 7 years. He has been a visiting faculty teaching corporate law at a Management Institute at Mumbai.
Mr. Satish Ranade holds Bachelors degrees in Commerce as also in Law from the Mumbai University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). His overall experience spans over 36 years in various fields.
Mr. Ranade had been a part of the most momentous stages of Tata Communications' history, Heading Tata Communications' legal and corporate secretarial functions from its inception. From a fledgling of a highly regulated wholly owned Government of India undertaking, now to a multi-function private sector telecom major in competitive market, listed on New York Stock Exchange and having more than 40 subsidiaries across the continents - he has seen it all. In this process he also had the opportunity to get hands on experience in various functions including HRD and Finance.
Mr. Ranade presently serves on the Boards of Tata Communications Lanka Limited-Sri Lanka, VSNL SNOSPV Pte Limited-Singapore, Neotel Pty. Limited and SEPCO Communications (Proprietary) Limited -South Africa as also on Indian subsidiaries of Tata Communications viz. Tata Communications Internet Services Limited-Delhi, Tata Communications Transformation Services Limited-Mumbai, and Tata Communications Banking InfraSolutions Limited. He also chairs the Board of two trusts formed by Tata Communications for its employees.
