Gallagher Conference Centre: 13 June 2018: Over 1500 delegates are expected at this year’s 2018 MyBroadband Cloud, Hosting, and Security Conference. Organisers predict this will be the best ever cloud conference in South Africa.

Delegates attending this premier event will hear from experts in the fields of hosting services, data centres, cloud computing, virtualisation, hosting infrastructure and connectivity.

The Math Lab will be officially opened by The Honourable Mr. Mohamed Enver Surty, Deputy Minister of Basic Education

Lead sponsor, Liquid Telecom South Africa, part of the leading Pan-African telecoms group Liquid Telecom will feature prominently at the event; newly appointed Liquid Telecom South Africa CEO Reshaad Sha will deliver the key note address on “A Mindset for Innovation.”

Liquid Telecom believes in the ambition and potential of the African business. That is why they combine their expansive reach, reliable, high-speed connectivity, state-of-the-art data centres and innovative digital solutions to augment the digital experience of businesses.

A visit to the Liquid Telecom stand is a must; the company will showcase products that can help grow your business. Find out more about CloudConnect for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure Stack, Skype for Business and Teams.

While all this may sound very technical, Liquid Telecom specialists will be available to de- mystify these products, and showcase why Africa’s cloud is Liquid.

  • If businesses move high volumes of data quickly or use resource hungry applications in Azure, then CloudConnect for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute is recommended. Together with CloudConnect, businesses of all sizes in Africa will now have direct private connections to Azure data centres on the continent. This product delivers greater reliability, faster speeds, lower latencies and higher security than standard connections through the public internet.
  • Liquid Telecom’s offering combines an expansive network of reliable high-speed connectivity with a full range of Microsoft Azure services to create a seamless cloud environment aimed at enhancing their customers’ digital journey. With the introduction of the first African Azure cloud data centres in early 2018, businesses across Africa will now be closer to the world’s most consistent hybrid ready cloud.
  • Unlock your hybrid cloud potential with Microsoft Azure Stack. Liquid Telecom offers a range of connectivity options that are all tailored to keep the Azure Stack connected and business platform and applications accessible to users. Optimised connectivity solutions for connecting the Azure Stack environment to Azure, provides bursting and redundancy scenarios.
  • Microsoft Skype for Business and Teams just works better on Africa’s No. 1 Voice Network. Liquid Telecom Telephony and Collaboration solutions bring together the voice and video calling aspects of Skype for Business and Teams, and businesses existing telephone network to create a fully integrated and fluid cloud telephony environment.
